Gregory Hanson is Senior Counsel at Rodman & Associates. He has extensive experience representing developers, general contractors and sub-contractors in construction claims and defect litigation. Gregory also has experience with land use matters and contract close-out disputes, as well as general insurance defense litigation.

Gregory’s experience includes conducting high-end settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and trial in large-scale construction projects, including those with owner-controlled and contractor-controlled insurance programs. He has taken innumerable depositions, including PMK/COR’s of major corporations. Gregory has prepared and defended clients in over 100 depositions.

Prior to entering private practice, Gregory worked in the construction industry for sixteen years. He served as a Managing Foreman for construction companies in Hawaii and California where he managed all aspects of building multi-million dollar custom homes, including oversight of project crews and deadlines. He also served as Assistant Project Manager for a construction services company in California where he advised the management team on materials and price negotiations, managed commercial projects within budget and on deadline, and initiated and implemented a pre-job then weekly trouble-shooting system. Gregory began his career as a carpenter where he specialized in building luxury custom homes.

In his free time, Gregory enjoys camping, hiking, swimming, skiing, and nearly anything outdoors. He also teaches Sunday School and leads men’s groups at his church. On most weekends he heads for a local dog park with his partner Susan and their amazing dog Jackson who they race through the AKC.
